author Paulina Maj

About the Author

Hailing from the East Block, Paulina likes to question authority. She does not like it when the children question hers, however, and is aware of the irony. Her late father, a polymath, adrenaline junky and avid student of history often remarked, “a family is not a democracy.” Paulina continues to explore the validity of this statement and is currently dedicated to world-schooling her two tenacious kids who inspire her to write.

Illustrator Alex Walton

About the Artist - Live & Let Live

Alex is a fine artist, masquerading as an arborist. He seldom finds his work fit to share with the public and struggled to complete this book. His talent is only rivalled by his warmth of character. The artist met the author over a fortuitous haircut at an art gallery where his earlier work was later exhibited. Alex can usually be found in his native habitat, Vancouver Island, enjoying the great outdoors.
